Aye Mates,
I just took delivery of a new Sony DSC-CyberShot RX10 Mark IV yesterday and got it set up to start shooting today. The camera is a beast and on the heavy side for a "mirrorless bridge camera". The extra heft is not o' major concern considering me intended uses for it. The extra heft and optical stabilization system should be instrumental in taming camera shake as the lens is extended to higher focal powers. I like the contour / grip of the body and the Zeiss lens is 24 mm to 600mm (35mm equivalent). It has a CMOS 1" sensor and a few initial images taken this afternoon have me anxious to dive in and get deeply familiar. The RX10 Mark IV boasts an incredible burst rate o' 24 fps and the fastest AF found in any camera available. The camera has been reviewed as having impressive image quality on still photo's, lesser so on video clips (I have other cameras I use in that regard).

Including here, a couple of initial images I took this afternoon of me Labrador Retriever "TRAD". I like the Bokeh effect on both of these head study portraits. Me initial thoughts are that I am going to have some real fun with this rig and not dragging along a big bag o' additional glass. Just in time for capturing me adventures forthcoming this gunning season.
Cheers,
