Never fails

My Pheasant opening is tomorrow, I have the same forecast for the next week. You are not alone..........Bob

I'd rather hunt roosters in the rain than in the heat. Scenting conditions aren't the best, but it is better than a hot dry and dusty day. I've always had pretty good luck getting them to sit tight in the rain......at least it isn't going to be 85 for a high my friend.

I was hunting over by Murdo Tuesday, and the birds were near the water in the sloughs. They have had a lot of rain this fall and most of the low ground is pretty wet. It has also been unseasonably warm too, but that is all changing by a cold front here by Monday.

Boy KB they didn't sit tight in the rain for me today. They were flushing 75-100 yards in front of Tony and I. Deer and Quail were open all week and I think the pressure from those hunters made the Pheasant spooky........Bob
