Save yourself some hassle and set up an online account. You can easily manipulate your dates then without stopping at a vendor. Any vendor can print your license from your online account if you need them to. The upland license is good as soon as you send the cc number.
 
to be honest it seems like more of a hassle to do that on-line & have a agent print it out 4 me??? ill just have them do it at the time i buy my license??? that seems the best route for me hi i want to buy my license ok here u go have a nice day then go hunt??? id rather buy my license in person for spring turkey thats not a option unless you buy ur license in pierre??? so i baught it on-line so i have a account its just a pain in my A** im old school man i like dealing with real people not computers lol


i plan to get my license i think on monday? or early tuesday B4 the hunt if my license is valid as soon as $$$ is changed hands then im good to go???

do they only accept credit cards there for OTC license sales??? i plan to buy mine with real cash money so will that be a issue guys??? SD seems like a pain in the A** to buy a license if so??? ive brought my license from FL to OK with cash i hope SD is no different???

sorry to bug the more info that comes in the more confused & worried i get id be pissed to get out to SD & buy a license & go out & hunt & get a ticket for not a valid license??? or go buy it tuesday & only get 4 days 2 hunt cuz of sum flub???

again sorry to bug you SD vets... i figured most guys on here buy there license on-line so anybody buy there license OTC??? i think im going to call the license vendor in SD wear i want to buy my license & ask them a few questions to be sure im all confused now... MN sound better & better every second so much more simple...
 
Buying a license in SD can't be any easier...not sure why you wouldn't do it online! You just print it out yourself.
 
dont trust my printer it leaves shit out plus i like real license not printed paper from my printer!!!

i hope in SD they sell real license that dont melt if they get wet??? in SD when baught my turkey license on-line they mailed me a real license that u cant rip up like paper...???

i will get my paper license wet 4 sure & it will fall apart anybody who hunts NEBRASKA turkey will tell you what crap paper license are!!!
 
Definitely do what makes you comfortable. Just throwing out what I have done. I have been to SD many years (pheasant hunting) and always bought it online (printed multiple copies - you can print as many as you want.) - just found it easier for myself than making another stop when getting there and we usually get to SD and start hunting right away.

found about 3 license vendors i will pass on my way to my hunting spots & a nice dinner to eat at once i get there... about another 30-50 mile drive after that into no mans land i hope!!!
