My pals and I have hunted around Regent ND with the same farmer for 10 years. We love the area and enjoy hunting there. There are usually 4 or 5 of us and 4 well trained pointers . We are very conscientious hunters and go to hunt and enjoy our dogs Any way I found out due to larger more financially appealing groups wanting a early time we are being pushed to a less appealing time in November. Apparently our loyalty hasns't helped us keep our spot close to opening day in October. Any how ,does any one know of a good location close to Regent that is affordable and doesn't insist we use their guide? We drive from Idaho so Regent is about as far a we want to go. We are happy staying in a farm house and need nothing fancy. We are just good ole working boys that like to hunt Pheasants.
