As I always remind my hunting buddy, we didn’t come out here for the fine dining. I remember one year we drove an hour and a half to go to that McDonald’s in chamberlain it was the only thing open on thanksgiving day for miles in every direction. The roads have gotten much better in the 35 years I’ve been going out there. Really not a concern anymore unless it snows a lot. We used to have to drive to the overpass on 90 to get cell service to call home. Now they have better cell service than I do in Michigan. So far it’s looking like another great year but a lot can happen yet between now and September let’s hope for the best.
