ND Grouse and Partridge

ND Grouse and Partridge counts are down 40% - 50% across much of NoDak. Cool nesting season as much to blame as the winter, although brood size appeared similar.

Pheasant count will not be published for awhile.

I just recently retired and one of my retirement goals was to spend a couple of weeks chasing Huns and Sharpies with my wires. Please send me info on an area in ND where we will find a few birds. I am not asking for your honey holes just a section of your state with public access where we will have some luck. If you having any information on where to find lodging it certainly would be appreciated. I would prefer to stay in an older farmhouse/lodge vs. motels but would not have a problem pitching a tent if nothing is available in the area.

Thank-you in advance,

Bob
