Don't know why I ever went. It was blowing like crazy and cold. Me and my brittboy hit a few places until I got cold; warmed up and hit it again, nothing. The last place we hit, we put up around 25-30 birds. They kind of went up in groups of 8 or 10. As each group went up I brought my gun to shoulder and saw no rosters to shoot at; same with all three flushes until the last bunch went up and I finally saw a roster flying right to left and then he turned and I never got my sights on him. RATS............next time

I went Monday and Tuesday and Monday was basically like you describe. 30+ mph all day and birds were not moving at all. Tuesday was great, but I noticed the 'bunching up' as well. I managed a limit only because 2 times, 20 birds got up and luckily there was a rooster in the back. The 3rd was a loner in a milo strip - the only single I saw all day.
