We had a bigger group than I prefer with 11 people. Our biggest group since the opener, and most of the same people. Like many, we saw lots and lots of hens, and many birds were spooky. However, some held pretty tight and we had some nice points. Pretty nice weather for the last day of January.
We hunted five fields, 2 WIHA and 3 private. There were birds on every field and at least one person had a shot at each. The young man on the left in the front row knocked down his first wild rooster at the very of the day.
