Got everything packed up last night.... Except for the lucky hat. Can't find it... It's always something. Oh well just a matter of hours now before the serious hunting binge starts.
 
Kinda work from home this week

Normally work from my home for my company....but this week it is work 10 minutes...get reday to hunt 50 mins and so on. Dogs are pacing around since they heard me load the dogbox.

My dogs too are going nuts. My 12yo britt female jumped on top of my male GWP yesterday and wrestled with him like she was a pup again. This morning she's digging a hole to cool down in when she takes breaks from pacing. This may be her last season but you wouldn't know it by watching her this week:)
 
My little Pointer knows it is close, we are skipping the opener and going to stay home and chase quail instead. We will be heading out next Thurs for a couple/few days. We have been doing are jogging and such just trying to knock off a little rust and maybe slim down just a bit, so she knows it's time.
