I recently bought a pair of the Muck Uplander HG boots. Picked up a new pair on eBay for $89. Apparently Much has discontinued this style boot. Why I don't know because I had the opportunity to put them to the test today. We had a NSTAR field trial in the wind and rain. I had these boots on for 12 hours today and ran 5 braces in them. Very comfortable with minimum heal slippage for a pull on boot. My feet stay warm and dry. When I got home and pulled them off this evening they were only a tad damp from either foot sweat or condensation. Had I been wearing my leather boots I would of had wet feet all day from the wet grass. I'd highly recommend them but if you want a pair you best start searching the internet as they are being closed out.

Uplanders

They make that model in a lace up, as well, and I am tempted to pull the trigger on a pair. Just wondering if Muck is true to size or do they run big or small. I wanted to get a pair because I don't believe a waterproof leather boot really exists. I got to get it right the first time though because they are close outs/discontinued, and there are no returns. You get the wrong size and you are SOL.

I just ordered the Uplander lace ups off Ebay for $59.95. Geez, I hope they fit, but I think the price was worth the risk. I think when they first came out they were $185. Either they got a new boot to take its place or they just were a complete bust.
 
Boots arrived

Muck uplander lace up boots came today. I've had my eye on them since they came out at $184. Discontinued off Ebay now for $59. They feel pretty good and will work with a thick sock. Time will tell if they hold up and are leak proof. If they are, it will be an ok purchase after hunting out there with wet feet most of the time. If not, then I just bought two more boxes of $35 a box shells and got hosed again.

Haha, boy you got that right. They wouldn't take it back either. Pretty strict rules about that. I think I might like the boots though. Let me know if you catch wind of any Kent TM being sold anywhere. I just gotta get my vest ordered now and I should be go. Got two weeks in November planned and one in December. Hope I can hit something. Gotta practice.
