Mowed CREP

With the dry conditions we had this year, are you guys seeing a lot of mowed CREP properties in Southeast and East Central SD?

I do see a lot. For as dry as it was and the amount of fields left unplanted it seems strange. Disappointed that there are so many cut, but as dry as it was I get the need for hay.

No, not in my part of east-central. Not yet anyway. Came across quite a bit mowed LAST year, one of the wettest years on record.

I think 3 of the 8 we looked at today were mowed.
