Mountain Lion in Rooks county

Can't believe this news hasn't made it here yet. It's all over the Kansas Hunting and Fishing Facebook group and the Wild Bird hunters Facebook group.

Love to know how the lion ended up dead, but we probably never will.

I had heard about that. Unbelievable! I was pheasant hunting in Rooks county a couple of weeks ago. I can’t imagine running into that sucker!

I know the Sheriff and he wouldn't give up much information. Just said there was one less up there. I'm sure they are investigating, but they could just go to Kansas Hunting and Fishing and get all the answers, lol. Probably won't get the whole story for a while.
