I'm heading to Mobridge in a few weeks to try my luck on walleyes. Any recommendations on eating places, attractions, or places to see some pheasants? Thanks.

If it was pheasant season I would definately pick you guys up so I'd have a place to hunt. Which I might be doing this fall because I'm not seeing to many birds around here.

Better just stop at my place. I heard Niceshot is not hunting this year. His new hobby is looking out over the golf course.

Pheasants in Mobridge

Greetings:

Just saw this post so I thought I would respond...but perhaps you've already had your fishing trip.

My Mother-in Law lives in Mobridge and we visit her every Christmas. We see birds on the NW edge of town, about two blocks east of the highway that goes over the river.

SE of town, just blocks, you'll see birds. Take main street south as far as you can go and head east, by the DNR building. The road curves around again to the north and ends up at. Hwy 12.

When the river was low you could flush them near the water's edge - expect its too high now.

Good luck with your fishing; my brother- in- law was a guide on the river and did well!!

Also, if you head out of town (north) a few miles you'll see birds...
