mo youth pheasant season

jeff im thinking of going opening weekend like taking that fri through the weekend off if you want to go a day or whatever i have a new male dog and he is really nice came from utah cost a fortune but he is a dandy and i dont like hardly any dogs most are average to me, but this guy whew wee i like. ihave never hunted bilby but i wouldnt be afraid of it isnt there another public spot just south of there as well ? Years ago i hunted with my dad we got into some quail but i cant remeber the name of it seems like it was off a blacktop as well?
 
I am going to take my son to bilby for the youth season I will let you know how it is. Pony Express is in Cameron or Happy Hollier in Savanah. Bilby will be a joke opening weekend. Lets try Pony or Happy Hollier.

How did it go for anyone that took a youth out?
I don't have a youth to take, so no update from me!
 
My son shot his first wild quail and his first wild double on quail at Bilby. He ended up with 4 total. I am a very proud Dad.
 
That is awesome I still remember my first quail when I was 12!!!
Did the birds hold good?
Have any pheasants pointed?
