I got a letter from the Chippewa soil and water conservation district today. They are trying to sign up current CRP acres for the walk in access program. It has to be at least 40 acres or connected to a WMA/WPA or another WIA resulting in 40 acres. Payments are $10/acre base, another $1 an acre if it is more than 140 acres, and another $1 an acre if you sign up for multiple years.

Hope the WIA program makes it more than a couple years, damn budgets!
