Minnesota Wolf hunting and trapping season closes today

They did much better then I ever thought. What that says to me is. There are a lot more wolves then I ever imagined.
 
DNR says there are 3000 in the core wolf area of MN. I'm 60 miles out of it and there are more and more wolves here.
A group of MN legislators are putting together a bill to put a 5 year moratorium on hunting and trapping MN wolves.
They are Looking for support, tied in with restrictions on all trapping. Including the body grip traps.
