Mature Pheasant

The biologist really liked the existing cover, the drainages with cat tails, the water holes that we have and the planting of food that we will be continuing. As for existing population, there is some, but I hope that with us planting some plots and planting grains, corn and wheat, that we will compliment the existing reclamation areas of native prairie lands.

:10sign::thumbsup: Post up before and after pic's if you get a chance of the habitat improvements and the little ones when they hatch and are running around with Mom. I had about 75 birds in a large pen and would go collect eggs daily. usually the eggs are right out in the open in a depression. Then all the sudden I got attacked by a hen. She was hell bent on giving me the business. I then see why. She had hid her nest in the best grass cover and was sitting on 13 eggs. She hatched them all. I had a few escape, not many, maybe 6-8. I had zero birds in the area. I then see a hen with 10 chicks run up to the stock tank and hop up and get a drink. I know they will do it!!
