Hi All,
I'm from MA but I'm not a liberal or a Kennedy lover. I live near Cape Cod and hunt a lot of waterfowl. I have 4 Labs that hunt upland as well as retrieve ducks and geese. I am hoping to bring several of them to South Dakota this year to hunt wild pheasant. Only stocked birds around here.

I have never been to SD and any advice or help anyone has to offer would be greatly appreciated. I am planning on some type of freelance hunt but I am willing to pay to access private land if necessary. Advice in this area is also needed as I have never had any experience in paying to access land. I plan to go Thanksgiving week. I have not found anyone else to go but I have a couple of friends thinking about it but no one has committed. I would like to find someone to share the driving with as it is about 1800 miles.

Thanks for joining Wayne. Good to have more east coast guys on the forum board. Hope you hook up with a few hunters for a South Dakota trip.
