I took the day off and made a trip out to Onpoint Outfitters for a hunt. I didn't get to do much late season hunting because of other commitments so I was looking forward to the day. There was a lot of snow out there. There hasn't been much snow at home so it was a change for sure. I planned to start out hunting without putting birds out to see how things went. It only took Nittany about 30 seconds before getting his first point in some standing corn. I was able to bag this bird and then moved on. The dogs found more birds in other standing corn and they ended up with 6 finds and I put 4 birds in the bag. The dogs did well and didn't bust any birds which suprised me a little since the birds were running in the corn. As I was walking back to the truck the dogs had one more find and I took some pictures this time. The next few pictures are of the same point as I kept moving closer:
Then I took a little video:
It was a good day.
