Lush Spring

An experienced gun says it's about as lush in NW as he has ever seen it. On a recent visit he heard and saw quite a few birds. I think the winter was fairly mild out there, so could we be looking at a bumper hatch?

nw kan

the thing about nw kansas brit is that the quail is so limited i personally like combo hunts but if your strictly talking ditch parrots i like central cant beat it.

Seen and heard a good bit of both birds while out fishing, coyote hunting, and turkey hunting. Looking forward to what could be a good year.

only a pointer,

Welcome to the best pheasant site on the web:cheers:

Yes, this spring is "lush" Britchaser. The grass is great and the weeds are everywhere. My buddy has decided to leave his 80 acres alone this year. Its not much, but I'm amazed by the difference in wildlife without cows and crops. I'm looking forward to this season. It should be another good one!
