Went out to scout a little!! Wind blew a flock of chickens over head and scratched one from a long ways up with #1's. It was almost Karma as he missed the 4runner by just 10 feet!! I thought all the little geese had moved on, but saw several flocks and lots of big geese moving on the front to go feed early this afternoon. Only stayed out about an hour and found that half my blind is still there after the flood. Found 4 t-posts and my chicken wire, no bench!! Water was about 10 foot over the top of the blind. Saw 1 duck, but I did not shoot it because I did not bring my waders and I would of had to go in to get it! Geese have been roosting on the river at night, so I will plan to jump them when season is almost closed.I hate jumping roosts even though they come back to the river at night and you can't shoot them anyway.
