One month and we will have sampled what the season holds for us. This year will be a lot of firsts for me. Taking a friend on his first pheasant hunt, not having dad around for advice, son staying home because of school, dog to crippled up to go....... I feel like I am starting over again but hey here we go. Best of luck to all of you this season.

Kansas opener is always the worst. Yet I long for it for months in advance.
 
If any of you guys hunt the Nebraska opener, I would love to hear how you do. We’ll be hunting right on the line for the Kansas opener.
 
will pm you a couple days after the opener.....i seldom share area specific info on this site....too many internet scouters who want you to use your boot leather.
 
I will be hunting the Nebraska opener with one of my sons and my brother. Birds will be down where we hunt but it is NOT about the birds for me. Looking forward to using two pair of new boots and even a new gun. Good luck to everyone and stay safe.
