Liver britt needs a home

Looking for a good home for a 4 yr old liver brittany male. A gentleman bought this pup from my dad, he now has a new job and has sold his house, unfortunately the dog can not go with him. I really liked this dog as a pup and almost kept him myself, would hate to see him go to waste. The dog is started and has hunted wild birds, do not know the extent of the training though. Any help in finding him a good home would be appreciated, I will get some pics and pedigree posted a soon as possible, thanks.

Sorry for the late reply, been out of town hunting dove. These are the only pics I have, can try to get some more. Will talk to the owner and get more information. Having trouble with my scanner, will get pics up tomorrow.

Was just curious is he house broken? Do you know how he does around other dogs? Any pictures of him? any other info would be great. I have a 7 year old gsp that might like a buddy. Thanks Chris

These are the only pics I have, my scanner is not working so they are pics of pics, going to stop by this week and take some better pics. I do know the guy had other dogs so he should be well socialized, will make sure though. Would rather give you owners # if possible, will check with him, thanks, Jerry.

Not yet, have given owners # to a few people, have heard nothing back. Been on my dad to get his pedigree to me so I can post it also.

Do you have anymore info on this dog? I know he is free and sometimes you get what you pay for with a dog but darn it if he is a nice little guy, hunts, and is not gun shy or ill he would make a darn good dog for someone.

Do you know much more about him? Gun shy? Hard to catch? etc etc. I could give 2 cents less about pedigree as long as he can hunt and is not sick or have other issues that the guy doesn't want to deal with. I'd love to have him and may just take him if I can find a good place to put him. If he is house broke I maybe can talk the wife into keeping him inside. My problem is I only have 2 kennels nowadays. Used to have 4 but have since downsized.

He came from a litter of my dads bitch, I havr only seen him once since he was picked up, never hunted with him. Owner seems to be happy with the dig, I know he has recently sold his house and is moving into city limits. Along with him not hunting much anymore, he asked my dad to help find him a good home. Where are you located in NE KS, can either give you the owners # or set up a time to meet him and the dog.

If need be, consider American Brittany Rescue and National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN). Both orgs have websites and probably have foster masters in Kansas and Missouri.

My Brit is an NBRAN rescue, a terrific upland hunter, and wonderful house dog.

if you decide to take him, i live about ten minutes from tongie. I would be happy to bring him up when I come to sd in early nov. I would be in the pierre area.
