Lightweight Upland Pants with Cargo Pockets

Hi all, been trying to find a pair of Upland pants for warmer/hot weather with cargo pockets on the side. Can't seem to find any except for tactical pants.

Just was wondering if anyone has a source for what I'm looking for, or if you've used tactical pants for hunting. Just talking short grass prairie no thick stuff. If so, what did you think of them?

Thanks so much!

Greg

Are you encountering any thorns or anything like that? I hunt antelopes in some short grass areas where we also see sharptails, I wear cargo pants and they work fine.

Bought a pair from Cabala's several years ago (6) and they have worn very well. Light weight and have protection on the front of the pant, plus deep pockets. They have a number 943680 on the label - not sure they still sell this
pant...

I'll go on line and visit their site and try to find them...Found one: LL Bean has a Poplin pant, light weight, $89

Have you checked (or ever tried) any Duluth Trading Co pant options? I'm somewhat intrigued by how they would do in the upland fields. I believe they have a wide variety of styles, pockets, and durable materials.

Another idea:

Last summer I bought a pair of very light-weight pants for a trip - hot climate situation. They are very comfortable , $39 at Gander Mt., Eden Prairie, Mn. I wear them under rain pants, for fall hunting in foul weather...
