Keep in mind that if you purchase your license after a certain date (I'm not going to look up the exact date, but I think it's around December 15 or so) you can use one of the 5 day periods this year and one of them next year. Just set your 2nd 5 day period for the last 5 days of the season next year, then when you figure out your trip plans, you can contact GFP and move the dates up.

Lucky guess by me! I'm part of a group that always takes a trip the 2nd weekend of December, and I know we miss that date by just a few days.
