September 1st has come and gone and for us it our 17th year in a great spot that has had its highs and lows but we’ve never come off the mountainside empty handed.
This year was outstanding. We had our limits by 10:15am. Ran into three large coveys. Didn’t have to chase singles.IMG_4466.jpeg

Don stop! You can still hunt them most of the way through November!
I used to do that but there is too many big game hunters out there. So many get a bit peeved when me and the dog come crashing through. I generally stopped The weekend before 1st season rifle.
