Anybody going out on the 1st? I'll be headed to Maryville with a buddy for the second year in a row. Last year I shot my 2 bird limit in about an hour, the other two walked until noon without firing a shot. We'll see if my luck repeats itself.
Look up the bird count on MDC, looks pretty bad as the bird count is the lowest in the history of taking counts. Poor season is what they predict, not even going to try this year.
I'm gearing up and got some new boots broke in and new truck tires on the way! Would northeast kansas produce any better than northwest missouri? Thought about hitting northeast kansas on some day trips before heading west for a longer stay.
