Lab Puppy Wanted

A buddy of mine is in the market for a lab puppy (preferably yellow). Does anyone know of a good breeder? He's looking for a dog that will hunt and lick his kids to death. He doesn't need a dog to run trials and be a grand champion, but would like bloodlines he will have confidence in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Look up Bear Creek Kennels up in Craig, CO. I bought my yellow female from them. She is a year old. Took her out pheasant hunting for the first time this past weekend and she didn't do to bad. Still learning, she loves chasing down a running rooster :10sign:

She got a mouth full of feathers a few times. Heck of a nose.

They do the full 24month health, hip, and eye guarantee.

Price isn't to bad. I always say you get what you pay for. If he wants the pick of the litter he will have to call and see where things are for their upcoming litters. I like their bloodlines.

Bearpoint has my vote, may spend a little more on the front side but these guys support you and your puppy after you get em home. Have a training question, ask them. Have a food or care ask them. They also do bird traning at their place in Larkspur you just pay for the birds. Most of their dogs point with little training and they are also a big contributor to Pheasants Forever and other non-profits. My pups a year old points like a GSP, retreives like a maniac and is even able to run blinds at only a year. Hunt ducks and geese at first light and finish up in pheasant field for the rest of the day.:10sign: Bring him home and he puts his head on your feet and lays down. Goes hard all day or sits in his blind for hours.I am sold on them.
