Just had a litter on 3-10-2011. Seven black puppies and 5 chocolate puppies. They will be ready to go go home the last week in April/ first week of may. They mother is a chocolate that came from show lines that I have trained to point and retrieve pheasants and ducks she hangs right with my GSP when it comes to pheasant hunting, on ducks she's the sole retriever we duck hunt both land and water. She has yet to lose a pheasant retrieve and maybe only two ducks that she couldn't find in three years of hunting. She also has a great disposition she hunts all day then curls up by the fireplace with the my boys.
The father, black, has 11 Grand Master pointers in his heritage he himself is an excellent retriver and pointer also hunts all day long. He has a very natural retriving ablilty.
The pups are big and bulky they are going to be able to bust through the toughest terrain.
