took my dogs to my buddy the vet. mostly a social visit but while i was there had him clip the nails of my female torrey. out of the 16 toes, he missed twice, that's about the same ratio i get. the difference instead of mopping up blood on the carpet he put a small dab of kwik-stop powder on his miss and stop quick it did. it's a styptic powder, might have to get it from the vet, don't know, sure worked today and will surely need it next time i do the clipping. made me feel good that he wasn't any better at it than me. the diff. being how he stopped the drips

that would have made me mad musti if the vet did that to my dog I do it anyway heck you can see the meat cant you unless they are black nails
