Keg Creek Rising Cooper passes away today

Cooper is a hard charging, tough, bird dog that has picturesque style on point and can really cover the country, always hunting for birds. His trial career was successful, earning a FC title, but his best attribute seems to be the quality of the offspring he is producing on a consistent basis. Cooper was named the 2008 GSPCA Field Trial Sire of the Year. He was just named the 2012 GSPCA Field Trial Sire of the Year and the 2012 GSPCA Dual Producing Sire of the Year. If you are looking for a low key pet to hang around the house or a hunting dog that stays around under your feet when in the field, we suggest he is probably not the sire for you. On the other hand, if you are looking to produce a high caliber hunting dog or a hard charging field trial prospect, Cooper might be worth consideration! Some serious hunters have bred multiple females to Cooper, he is producing hard core bird dogs and is by far the best wild bird dog we have ever hunted behind in our 30 plus years of upland bird hunting.

RIP Cooper, You were a hell of a specimen..

sorry for your loss.....VERY good looking dog and sounds like it had everything else to go along with it. R.I.P.

For clarification, Cooper was not my dog but the sire of my Breez dog.

One of the best stud dogs of all time. Throws incredible puppies.
