Kansas 2010 UPLAND FORECAST

I talked with Matt, the wildlife biologist at Wilson Lake last week. He said that the birds around there look to be doing great. He said that the Quail seem to be booming and that the Pheasant are good as well. I asked him about all the rain and hail up north of him and he said he does not remember the weather events being too bad and that the hail was definately not widespread. Basically, he said that with the high quality cover that the birds had last spring we should see a really good population of both Quail and Phez.
