Just need about 10 more snow storms out east!

The storm coming in tonight sounds like it might be a good one. I am glad we are finally getting some moisture. Hopefully it melts quickly so the birds don't have to dig through the snow for too long.

Looks to be a good one.

Sunday: Snow lasting all day until a couple of hours past sunset.
6 to 11 inches by Sunday night around the metro area with 7 to 14 inches in the foothills, 3 to 7 inches in Northern Colorado and 5 to 9 inches on the plains.

Very nice out there today ... ran the pups around for 90 minutes after doing the same last night, maybe I should have taken them out a bit longer. ;-)

I ran my dog today in the field after 30 minutes i was shedding cloths and the dog needed water, nice day. As for the tomorrow, I find that the dogs don't mind running in the snow. It is just us that we prefer to read in front of the fire.....Hoping for the big one.

No doubt! I took Blitz and Dakota out on Friday night to Colorado Hills Open Space, there were a few inches of snow on the ground and they had a great time. The big blue guy is a snow hound, and the youngster came from Montana - he has a medium coat, for a Weim - no doubt that he is a "winter dog" too. :)

I just fired up the snow blower to make sure that it was in running order. I haven't used it since the middle of last February when we had that one and only big snow storm.

I find that the dogs don't mind running in the snow. It is just us that we prefer to read in front of the fire.....Hoping for the big one.

Snow here in Broomfield tonight, on top of whatever we had on Saturday. I was out of town until Sunday night ... but we had 6 or 7 inches here.

I was running Dakota today at lunch in Longmont, across the road from the abandoned sugar mill, near the creek and heard a rooster calling out to the ladies!

Got 16" @ my house out of the big storm & another 3-4" a couple days after. Fading fast now in the warm sun, but conditions have been perfect for it to slow-soaking into the ground... :)

Cowdog, how much total did you guys wind up getting out your way???
Anybody else know what happened further north up near Holyoke???

We have about 1.5 - 2 inches here in Broomfield.

Looks like the plains are going to get a big dumping ...

The eastern plains will have the heaviest snow accumulations with this storm, along with periods of blinding northerly wind Saturday. A WINTER STORM WARNING until late Saturday night for 10 to 18 inches of new snow north of U.S. Highway 36 and 5 to 10 inches along I-70.

Looks like this wknd's latest snowstorm is FINALLY gonna dead-center on eastern CO farm & pheasant country instead of the front range for a change! From Burlington all the way up thru Holyoke should get a good shot of moisture out of this one... :10sign:
