Just got back from ND

I am fortunate enough to have family with access to ground in the best part of the state so I made a trip up this year. Friday was windy and warm and the birds were wild, we managed to get a few but not enough for a trophy pic. Saturday it cooled down and the wind died down and we shot a 3 man limit by 1:30. Sunday the same, except we were finished by noon with two bonus sharpies. Most of the birds were shot off of point and we had some of the best dog work I've seen in a while. There is nothing like watching two pointing dogs work. Pointing, backing, retrieving, Awesome. Saw a 30+ birds rise multiple times.

Not trying to brag just reporting. I can't wait to get going in Kansas.

Great report and sounds like it was an excellent trip. I've hunted twice in ND. Once in the SW corner on private land - awesome - and once in SE on public - pretty poor - but we went to the Angry Beaver Inn for drinks and dinner.
