Just a little envious of you guys that only have a few hour drive to hunt. I watch yall's weather more than my own. Trying to get the high school boys to comment to a date, or their parents for the go ahead is like herding cats. Time is just a ticking away. Hell, we don't even have any ducks down yet.

I would expect you to start getting ducks any second. I noticed a nice influx here about a week ago, maybe two. But many will push South as these ponds are locking up with the overnight low temps, and the first decent snow cover will probably convince the others...
