Hey everyone,
I haven't had an opportunity to post on the site much lately. I've had a good year thus far. I'd say bird numbers are comparable to the last couple of years. There may be changes in small geographic locations, but overall, I think bird numbers are fine.
We've been out several times this year and have done well. I think we brought home, 7,8, and 10 birds. We've also hammered a few quail. We did have 4-7 guys in our groups, but we also missed more than we should have, and lost more birds than usual. These birds are throwing on their kevlar vests early this year.
The birds have really gotten spooky early this year. We need a good snow storm to make them think twice about flushing so early.
Good luck to all of those going out this weekend. I had my wisdom teeth pulled today, or I'd probably be out there too.
