Issue with dog's nose

For the 3rd year in a row my 9 year old GSP has gotten something lodged in his nose. Happened Wednesday when we were hunting and he sneezed and sneezed trying to get it out. I thought he got it and then today he started sneezing again and I'm pretty sure it's still in there. The last two years I've had to take him in and they knocked him out to go up there and retrieve it. Frustrating! Anyone else have issues like this?
 
I have not experienced anything of an appreciable size getting lodged in my dogs nose. I did have a buddy that had portion of a corn stock break off in a dgs nose and need the assistance of vet. With that said, I have found, especially in the more aired parts of the country saline solution squirted into the nose and rinsing eyes goes a long way.
