Irish setter havocs on sale

Sierra trading post has setter havocs on sale right now for 129.99. I already bought a pair off amazon this year but got me another coming can't pass up that deal.
 
Excellent boots for sure. I just went through a season with these and logged A LOT of miles walking. Ultra comfy, light weight and kept my feet pretty dry. They're advertised as water proof but I'd say they are more water resistant (like most makers who claim their boot is water proof). If I got caught in wet areas, my feet definitely got wet. But saying that, these are the best boots I've owned to date. I have another new pair of Danners that I really like as well and will wear... but I couldn't resist grabbing another pair of these as well. There's also a 20% or 25% off code that I believe is still going on if you do a search. ;)
 
I have been wearing these boots for a couple years now, and they are light, comfortable but not so waterproof. At almost 75 persent off after above mentioned 25 off code, had to order another. I was going to try a different boot, but hell I can throw a pair away after a year for this price.:10sign:

Have a pair and really like them. Mine are waterproof and are the upland version.

Great find and thanks for sharing.

Unfortunately I now prefer 9" boots. The 10" style boots add just a little more weight and ride a little too high on my leg.

The Upland Havocs we are talking about here are a 9" boot!!

You ordered and received them ?

The description does not say and if you count the eyelets/posts on the Sierra Trading post photo - there are eight. Eight eyelets/posts compare to most 10" Irish Setters.

The 9" boots usually have seven eyelets/posts.

The Sierra Trading Post boots are close outs. Look bigger to me. If they work for you great.

Let us know when you receive them if they are indeed 9" boots.

Yep, that's what I ordered (10") from the link... ;) I currently have the 9" all leather uplands though.

It is a great price on a gore-tex boot. Nothing comes close to gore tex in footwear for water repellent performance.

Tendency on my part is to go lower down the shin on my walking boots ... wish they could put together a deal on the 9" havocs.
