Iowa Pheasant Recovery Program

Iowa has a program (pheasant recovery program) in place to put 50,000 acres of pheasant boosting habitat/food sources into the ground to help boost Iowa pheasant numbers. Below is a link with some info

its about darn time! ive been reading about this plan for 2 years now, hopefully with that, and a new farm bill we will see some positive.

I rode with a guy to Marion county to pick up a GSP pup last weekend. Saw lots of birdie habitat but turkey were the only birds we saw

That's how it is over here too. The northern potion of the state seems to be last on the list. I suppose it has to do with land prices.
