Interesting new truck storage system

That's just great!!! Thanks a lot for posting this, Now I am going to have to go out and buy me one to add to my new hunting rig that I just purchased. That would look great in my new 20014 Z71 1500 pick up truck u.nder my new Jason topper. I have looked at the other brands for a couple of years but with this price I don't think I can resist not buying on. That would be great for Hunting, camping, dog training and working. My wife doesn't seem to be a thrilled as I am right now ;)

Price seems very reasonable. Would like to see one in person or hear from someone that owns one.

They stole my idea :) But I have a 10 gallon preasurized 12vlt water tank in mine I better get my patent.:D Now in my f150, no crow riv box, just pet porters sideways and access to crates through side topper windows. Love it. With tank, pump material, 700$. Water proof with spray on truck bed liner, and locking dust free drawers. I am a carpenter, but anyone can make one. I spray it off just like washing the truck.

Nope not a bad price. If I took out my custom food grade water tank, and pump I could take off 300 bucks. The spray on liner cost me 150 bucks. And my drawers were finished with spray exterior grade lacquer. So you could do a cheap version for a couple hundred in material. Perhaps they will come out with one with a tank. Nice to wash crates, water dogs, clean birds, mud from boots etc. And great for cooling off a dog after training/hunting and over heated. mine is insulated so it can keep ice water cold for a long time.

Well I decided that this would not work for me. With it being 12 inches high and my cab high topper. I would not be able to get my dog grates in or out. The dog grates are about two inches higher that the top of the back door when they sit on top of the storage box on my topper. I should have gotten the high rise topper instead, then the storage system would work. I will just continue to use the one I built. Its similar to FCspringer except it is just half the length of my truck be so I can slide it back and forth to slide the dog crates in and out.

Yes, good point. Mine is just covering the wheel wells in the new truck, basicly flush. I can also slide large pet porters in no prob. I pop up the 2 side panels, and the whole thing slides out in less then a minute. But I don't take it out much. I did not go that high for that very reason. I don't want to take the crates apart or the topper loose every time to get the crates out.

I built my own platform for the back of my Suburban. Has a center support and I use 2 Xmas wrapping paper tubs under it. Dog crates sit on top. Works like a charm and cost almost nothing. $25 at best. Not nearly as fancy looking as some of these
