I go the second or third weekend of the season usually. This year first trip will be Oct 26th. Guys from across the country meet at our friends farm. Its more of a social event but still a good time. The weekend after deer season closes is always the best trip of the year for our smaller group of 5 or 6. I do enjoy the late January hunt too.
