Pleased with the number of birds seen today
2 hr 2.5 mile hunt 30+ birds - wild and in the willows along the river. Hard to keep track of the pup in the tall cover
Did manage to scratch one down with my only shot . Wing tipped bird across the river . Pup marked him spot on and after a swim and short chase made the swim back and delivered to hand
Had a successful goose hunt Thursday only 1/4 mile from the house
I share the birds with the landowners and they must like the birds since they keep letting me hunt
