Thought I would share a few pics from my annual trip out to Sabula, IA with my old military buddies. Went much earlier than usual this year and the fields were still pretty thick, resulting in a few shot-but-unrecovered birds and a lot of runners. All in all probably my worst trip as far as birds flushed and shot (that part is on me), but still a great time nonetheless. Next year planning to go back towards the middle/end of Nov after the fields have been tramped down a bit and the cold sets the birds a little more.
