IA Great Lakes - Any Reports?

Anyone doing any good up around the lakes in the NW corner? I scouted NC yesterday, no snow at all where we were, and we saw some birds; but not many. Thinking of coming up to the Lakes sometime before Christmas to give it a try; last hunted up there in '07 and enjoyed it. Its got to be a little better than what's going on down here.

True, however pressure will drop off a little once deer season kicks in...
