Unless you have deep pockets and want to release these birds as a short term hunt opportunity just as a preserve operator would turn out birds as the client drives up I think you will be very disappointed with the results.
The Ky Department Of Fish and Wildlife had a top notch breeding and release program for many years and they did it under optimal circumstances with highly educated biologist's and ideal cover and geography. They gave up the program about ten years ago after concluding that the survival rate of the released birds were about 3%.
Like many others that's when they diverted that programs money into habitat enhancement projects.
