i like a lab

i went hunting in the smith county phillips county area from wednesday til fri on private and walk in saw quite a few quail and killed a few parrotts. On with my story i get to my buddies house and he says do you mind if i bring my lab and to be honest i was like saying to myself oh boy here we go lol and the dog is green.But it did things that i love when my dog is on point he will go in and bust them that way both guys will have a shot,usually the guy going in to bust the birds is in tough mangled in trees cedar trees hard to get a shot.if you had a really good lab with a good pointing dog this could really work great,but also you have to have a really broke pointing dog as well.

LOL, have you checked your temp? Are U OK OaP? I never drempt I would hear those words from a die hard EP man.

@onlyapointer - there is room for everyone/everything in this sport & where there's a will, there's a way. Just as long as the "my dog (or kind/style of dog) is better than yours" crap doesn't start! If the pointer man is happy with his points (and the retriever can mind his manners) & the retriever guy is happy with flushes & zero-loss retriever work even on cripples (and the pointer guy doesn't care as much about the long retrieves) - sounds like a pretty good combo to me! Glad it werked fer ya!!! I wanna give it a try with someone so bad, but afraid my dog or I might possibly ruin it for some snobby/elite, look-down-his-nose/holier-than-thou pointing aficionado wholly unlike you! :thumbsup: :cheers:
