Ah you caught me..... I use the same mounted bird. He even has kung fu grip like GI Joe... Come on September 1st!!!

It is a real bird not a stuffed one... Just wish I knew where he hung out... Imagine the money I'd save on shells.

Hope my breeder has some blues in stock before season starts. Easier to plant them that way. 
September 1st is but 3 short months away, but it seems a ways off. Just found out about our big game draws. Yes on speed goats and mule deer. No on elk (that puts me at 8 pp this year). So that will cut in to chasing grouse but we'll be hard at it when we can.
Hope you can make a trip with us Greg. We have great group of bird hunters. Sometimes we are a bit unorthodox but we have a great time.

congrads on your draw, I got lucky as well, speed goat with two points and a deer as a second choice as I took first choice as a point in a season choice licenses where I can hunt in any or all of the seasons in the specific area until the tag is filled. I will have 55 days to hunt in archery season, 8 days in muzzleloader and 23 days in rifle season. Should be able to get er done in that much time, of course I can not take all of that time, kinda like being married.

Congrats on your draws. I love hunting big game almost as much as I love hunting birds. Luckily my wife is very understanding when Sept 1st rolls around and she smiles when the sun sets on the 31st of January.
I wish you luck on your pursuit of deer.
