Hunting at wings north? Good? Bad? Yes? No?

hey guys just thinking of saving some money & taking my pup out to a local game farm & get n her on a bunch of pheasants & quail B4 i would head out west to SD with its horrible harvest reports & supposed less pheasants then last yr thus far on this forum & else wear???

im looking into going to wings north hunt club or hunting preserve near pine city MN & just seeing if anybody else likes it or dislikes the wings north set up & the quality of there fields & its wildness of there pheasants??? & also what to expect if i hunt there??? & would you go there again or never again???

also if somebody else has a place they think is better or a better deal please post the name of the preserve & any contact info you may have??? im trying to kinda stay with in a hour or the twin cities area if i can but a few extra min of driving for a good deal is ok with me...

heres the outline of what each hunter at wings north has to buy when they go to wings north a 25$ daily access fee plus 5 birds per each guy hunting at the preserve & there price of birds were like 18-20$ per pheasant like 12-14 per chucker partridge & like 7-9$ per bobwhite quail i just rounded up per bird

so if anybody has a better place i can go with like 4-6 people or by my-self to get my dog on some birds in the near future please let me know... thanks for any info you can offer me guys...

if any place has huns id go there ASAP but im looking for a place with at least pheasants & quail chucker are OK but not a big deal to me... but will do if no quail or huns available???

I have hunted Wings North a few times. It is a good operation, the birds are usually good flyers and there is a good mixture of cover. The only downfall I see is the fields are separated allowing for multiple hunts to take place at the same time. I have always felt safe (ample room between fields) but on a weekend it can be pretty packed.

But all in all I would give it an 8/10.

Sand Pine pheasants talk to Keith field 1 and 2 are huge. The pheasant pricing is great as well.

ok thatnks guys i will be looking into these game farms ASAP do you guys know of the price of pheasants at your given game farms???

wings north is 25$ daily to hunt there

19$ for pheasants

15$ for chucker

13$ for bob white

no huns to release...

also how far away is sand pines from the twin cities & what town is it in??? thanks for all the info guys

my son and i have been to bear creek a couple times, really nice 'small town' type of place. no daily fee, that is worth another bird and a half. we have shot sporting clays several times and a pigeon shoot at wings north, they have a bar/restaurant there that bear creek doesn't if that matters to you. just got an email from wings north, they have released over 6600 birds so far this season, so they must be doing something right.
