Hunting around St.Paul

Hey guys,

Going to visit the little brother down in St.Paul this weekend for Thanksgiving. Rather be in Lincoln, have not been there since the other brother wrestled for UNL. Talk about a riot, hang out with a bunch of UNL wrestlers for a weekend!

Anyways, I might take the opportunity to take the labs on a trip. But I am curious if there is any lodges or hunting around St.Paul that I should look into? Being the web genius I am not, I cant seem to find anything within 30-45 mins of St.paul. So that tells me either they need to be better marketed or they need to be listed on this site . Regardless if anyone can shoot me a few ideas that would be wonderful. If not Go Big Red Right???

"Husker Hunts" is a lodge near Ord. 30-45 min drive from St. Paul. I grew up in Ord and hunted all over the area. Most farmers are very friendly to hunters if you aren't afraid to knock on some doors. The numbers are down so a lodge may be the way to go if you want guaranteed birds .

yeah got in contact with them, but they are no longer running hunts.

I am just looking for a quick fun little quail hunt while down there. So if you see an Ultimatepheasanthunting.com black truck running around the countryside, its not me

Used to hunt north and west of town with great success! Lots of CRP rolling hills, it was a lot of fun. But that was in the 1990's. Wow that sounds like a long time ago now. Good luck.
