I do a lot of hunting in southwest Minnesota and south central North Dakota. Any reports on Huns this year? They are a nice bonus to your bag. Just wondering if you guys are seeing any coveys.
 
Ran into my 1st covey last year. Other than that I have not seen them hunting. The cover they like is a lot diference than pheasant cover. We ran into them in some corn stuble.

We saw a few coveys this year in Western ND. Cut wheat and in the small grassy patches. Fun.

i seen a covey on the MN/IA border on MN opener & my family ran into a covey in western MN we see & hear of guys get n a few each season more on the dry yrs yeah if your hunting pheasant cover u wont get into huns most the time if you do its on the walk back to the truck cut n through some short stuff to take a short cut back to the vehicle lol i love huns
